Worlds Highlighted in Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Indoor Location Services

Gartner’s recently released the Magic Quadrant report on location services, the market that comprises the “hardware, software and service components that provide indoor location coordinates and services.”

Today, companies need to be able to keep track of people and critical assets in real-time, Gartner says, to ensure “safety, compliance, and cost optimization.” 

 To equip companies with those capabilities, Worlds technology taps into the operation’s existing network of security cameras and sensors to develop a live digital twin of their environment. That digital re-creation of their physical operations allows companies to monitor where people and objects exist in real-time, as well as to receive alerts when they enter restricted or controlled areas.

Gartner wrote:

It captures industrial operations data in real time and generates real-time notifications and alerts. Worlds also addresses people safety for industrial environments. For example, a real-time alert system notifies of any gas leaks or flares, helping to prevent loss of life and further damage. Employee-down can also be detected. 

 Worlds clients have used its location services to track when shipments arrive, speed up checkpoint procedures, ensure that humans don’t cross into areas that present safety hazards, and much more.
