Ross Brown

Board Member (Observer)

Ross Brown has over fifteen years of real estate, venture, and oil and gas principal investment experience with both regional and national firms.  Mr. Brown oversees Align’s underwriting, acquisition and asset management functions.

Prior to Align, Mr. Brown was the Vice President of Cielo Private Equity, with responsibilities across acquisition, asset management and divestment activities. Mr. Brown served as an Associate and founding member at Dallas-based CoastOak Group and participated in the structuring, underwriting and management of over $250 million of real estate assets in various markets across the United States.  Prior to CoastOak, Mr. Brown was with SunCal Companies, one of the largest, privately owned, residential developers in the nation. Before joining SunCal, Mr. Brown was an Analyst with Buffington Capital Holdings in Austin, TX.

Mr. Brown currently serves as a Board Observer for ClearBlade, MVPIndex, Hypergiant Industries, Worlds and Seawolf Resources.  Previously, he was a Board Observer for Gravitant, Inc, sold to IBM, and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
